Piani di Castelluccio karst (1,350 m), about 15 km ², mainly represented by the Great and the Pian Pian Perduto. They are famous for Fiorita, namely the massive flowering phenomenon that colors the plan in late May and early July (especially poppies, Fiordalisi, daisies).

 

Castelluccio is a fraction of the town of Norcia (PG).

The village is located on top of a hill that rises on the homonymous plateau, one of the largest in central and inserted in the National Park of Monti Sibillini. The height of 1452 m s.l.m. makes it the highest town Appennino Umbro-Marche. Opposite to it stands the imposing silhouette of Mount Vettore (2,478 m). The village is located about 28 km from Norcia, and can be reached via a panoramic road. According to Istat data of 2001, is home to 150 residents.
